Before you can use the Social Media Module, you must connect your social media account(s). The Restuarant Owner login must connect the account before it can be used. If you have created additional Administrator Users, first login with your admin account to connect accounts.
We currently support Facebook and Twitter.
In order to connect your accounts:
- Navigate to the Social on the Left menu.
- Click the Accounts Tab
- Click Connect to .... (social platform name)
- Follow the instructions to complete the connection including logging into the platform and approving the connection.
Once the platform is connected, you will be able to post to that account.
DinerWebsites only supports posting to Facebook Pages. If you have more than one Facebook Page, you will need to select the page you want to connect to. Only the page you approved in the connection setup will be available.
When you see the post, it will display "posted by DinerWebsites" on Facebook. Don't worry. This is only visible to the Admin of that page.
